Bruce Pedrola, founder of Mocha Motion, started in the espresso business in 1984 as a service technician working for one of the first espresso machine dealers in Washington state.

In 1987, while working with the then Bon Marche (now Macy’s), Bruce developed systems for self-contained espresso carts. This eventually led to his company producing their own line of carts that are still built today.

In 1987, at the request of a customer, we brought an espresso bar to a party.

Well — the rest is history — over the course of time, we’ve developed our unique espresso catering bars into what they are today.
